Booking Terms & Conditions

Check in
On day of arrival check in is between 4pm and 6pm. Any time after 6pm must be pre arranged. To do this please ring on 01668 215507 or e-mail enquiries@chattonpark.com.

Depratures
Check out on day of departure is 10am.

Booking terms
On line or telephone bookings must be secured by using an acceptable valid credit/debit card. A 50% deposit is will be taken on booking which is non-refundable and any balance will be automatically taken with in 10days of arrival.
Group or wedding bookings, the full balance is due 12 weeks before your stay.
All bookings are subject to management approval and can be cancelled at any time.
We accept most credit /debit cards.
We do not accept cheques or American express.

Adult only
We are adult only (18yrs plus) Any one arriving with children will be refused admittance. However the full amount of money for your stay will be taken.

Pets
We do not accept pets, not even in the back of cars. Anyone arriving with pets will be refused admittance. However the full amount of money for your stay will be taken.

No smoking
For the comfort and safety of all our guests we are exclusively a non-smoking establishment.

Damage
We reserve the right to charge guests for any damage caused to property or structure of Chatton Park House and Lodge. Also anything removed or taken. We will make a charge to the guests credit/debit card or send an invoice for the cost for payment to the guests registered address.

Liability
The liability for guests for their account is not waved and guests agree to be held personally liable for any charges incurred during their stay. In the event of a booking for more than one room (a group booking) the lead or registered guest (a group booking) the lead guest providing credit/debit card details is personally liable for any person, group, company or association that fails to pay all or part of such charges. 

Insurance
We strongly advise that travel insurance to cover any unforseen circumstances. 

 

Cancellation Policy

 

All bookings pay a 50% non-refundable deposit, and the full balance is taken 10 days before arrival.

1 night stays 100% non-refundable deposit.

If you cancel 30 days or more before your stay you will only incur a 50% charge, 1 night bookings 100% charge.
If you cancel less than 30 days before your stay 100% of the booking will be charged.

However if for any reason you do have to cancel please inform us at your earliest convenience so we will try and sell the accommodation again and try and reduce your cost.

If you leave for any reason during your stay the full balance of your original booking will be payable.

All bookings are subject to management approval and can be cancelled at any time.

We are a small establishment with only 5 rooms and unlike the large hotels we cannot absorb cancellation costs. Thank you for your understanding.

When using our website, we also collect information, some of which may be personal data.

*Reservations. We use your personal data to complete and administer your online and phone booking.

*Guest reviews. We may use your contact data to invite you by e-mail to write a guest review after your stay. This can help other travellers to choose the accommodation that suits them best. If you submit a guest review, your review may be published on our website.

Where is the personal data stored, who has access to it, and how secure is it?
Any personal data collected via our website is held within a secure, password protected system, only authorised users with valid user names and passwords have access to the data held on this system. The system is stored on a secure server that is located in a secure UK data centre where only authorised personnel have access to the building.

How long do we store your personal data for?
If you have made a purchase from us we store your personal information for a minimum of 7 years as HMRC and other government bodies require us to keep transactions and invoicing records for this length of time. If you have requested information from us via our website or via phone we will store your personal data on file for a minimum of 1 year, but we will not send you any marketing information. 

Data sharing
We do not share any personal data with any third parties and never pass information onto anyone else.

We will always send you a confirmation e-mail on booking.

How can you access, review and amend your personal data which we hold?

At Chatton Park we aim to cater for all the needs of our visitors. We invite you into our home offering four bedrooms to our guests on a bed and breakfast basis. We are a non smoking establishment.

*Guests are asked to ring up the day before arrival with estimated time of arrival.

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities

*Property is located 150 meters from the main road through stone gateposts. Tarmaced drive way to the parking area for three vehicles in marked bays.

*Assistance with luggage offered.

*The centre of the village with shop/post office and pub is located three quarters of a mile from Chatton Park.

*Over door lighting, driveway and house, dark sensitive lighting. Torches are provided in all rooms for additional lighting.

 

 

 

Main Entrance and Reception

*the front door has one step 13cm high. Door width 91cm. Leading to a flagstone porch door width 86cm then step into the hallway with wood floor.

*Hallway leads of to carpeted lounge and dining room.

*Main staircase has 14 steps 16 cm high leading to landing. Hand rail on the right. 6 more steps leading to first floor and three bedrooms. Hand rail on the right.

*The stairs are lit continuously.

*Reception desk 77cm high. Use of landline telephone on request.

*Use of laptop in hallway for internet access.

*Use of own laptop in rooms via wire-fi.

*Audible smoke alarms on stairs and hallway.

 *Seats provided in hallway, 47cm high.

 

Public Areas (general)

*Ground flooring is short pile carpet or wood flooring

*All areas are well lit.

*2 large open fires in quest lunge, 1 open fire in dining room.

*Guest lounge and dining room on ground floor.

*All bedrooms are en-suite. No public toilet.

 

Dinning & Day Service

Breakfast is served in the dining room with internal door width of 87cm.

*Breakfast is served on 3 separate large round tables 115cm in diameter and 77 cm high.

*Cold buffet breakfast is self served 85cm high.

*Soft lighting and soft music played.

*Breakfast is cooked to order. Served between 8am and 9am.

*Full choice menu available. Dishes rang from traditional cooked breakfast to fish dishes, vegetarian and special diets are catered for.

please take note that we are a Bed & Breakfast not a Hotel thus there is no service between 11am until 4pm.

*Dinner is not provided. We can help with the choice of restaurant and make reservations for our guests.

*There are a total of four bedrooms with en-suite facilities. One room is a suite with its own lounge. Short pile carpet. Wood floor in bathrooms. Oil fired central heating throughout. All duvets and pillows are feather we do have  allergy free that can be requested before arrival.

*All linen is 100% cotton and of excellent quality. All towels are of excellent quality. Robes and slippers are provided.

*Hairdryers, cotton wool balls, hankies, and toiletries provided.

Arrival and car parking facilities

*Property is located 30 meters from the main road through stone gateposts. Tarmaced drive. The lodge is first on your left through stone gateposts onto a graveled drive, parking for 4 cars.

*Graveled drive leading to 4 steps. Graveled walk way to front door. 1 step up to front door. Thresh on door.

*The centre of the village with shop/post office and pub is three quarters of a mile from Chatton Park Lodge.

*Over door lighting, lighting on house is controlled by switch in the lodge by front door. Torches are provided in two bedrooms and kitchen for additional lighting.

*You will come to the main house and given your key and then taken to the lodge and given a tour of the Lodge.
