Golf courses abound in Northumberland, links and inland courses provide a challenge to any level of expertise.

Northumberland Wildlife Trust, RSPB and many other wildlife organisations have reserves in Northumberland. North Northumberland has particularly rich areas for wildlife and bird watching - Budle Bay, Farne Islands and Lindisfarne to mention but a few.

North Northumberland provides excellent facilities for the sports person whether your interest is fresh or salt water fishing, sailing or other water sport.

There are a number of stables providing lessons, hacks etc for all levels of horse rider.
